[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was originally taken to capture the hoverfly on the daisy. Only in post capture editing and filing did I notice there was another creature stalking the fly - just visible are the tips of a crab spider's legs. I may have done the fly a good turn because after my shot it flew off, not knowing how close it had been to ending up as a meal.

This macro of a hoverfly is so perfect you deserve not only one but many smileys for it, Mark. To see your skills improving gives me happiness.
The villain lurking in the background looks like a character out of a melodrama at the moment with only his "claws" showing; let us have a full macro of him next time.
