Hi Sochirca. Interesting shot.
I'd always wondered about sparrows.I wonder how it killed this huge beast.I've often thought they were stalking me.I'll be more wary of them now ;)

Halo :-)
It's very interesting shot. Poor, hungry bird.
I would like to help all sparrows!

Nice shot, but I can see the grill in front and I would prefer to see more of its face.
TFS.

Nice shot!
Don't be so surprised couse sparrows eat also insects which are in fact meat ;-)
This one just find nice meal, very good for hard winter times.
I like this shot very much.
Well done!

Interesting bit of info you share, Dan. I would love to see more of the birds head in this shot. But its still a nice catch. :) Well done.

Very good capture of this unusual moment Sochirca. Sparrows don't normally feed on meat, but who am I to argue with evidence like this. Good job

My God what have you done, Dr. Deud Frankenstein, you turned that poor creature into a fierce carnivore! Never seen that before but I would be completelly pooped in my pants if an ostrich next to me wouldve gone the same way... Normally I would never give points for such lack of sharpness or dull lighning but the moment you captured is amazing. All this right after I just saw this another incredible photo here at TN : www.treknature.com/gallery/North_America/United_States/photo11386.htm
Sa ai o zi buna, Dane !
