Hello Grzegorz,
Sorry to hear that you were disappointed about the pelicans and other animals. Maybe the season wasn't right. But this is a beautiful place and your photo is so lovely. TFS

Hi, Greg!
I see that both shots, your and mine, come from more or less the same part of the lake. Funny!
Isn't the place simply breathtaking!?
And I'm really glad that my photos from previous trip inspired you to visit Montenegro this year.
Best greetings,
Michal

Hi Greg
Sorry that things didn't quite go as planned :(
It was worth it even for this single picture! It's a beauty!
The panorama view really makes this look very wide (although we both know how wide our S2 really is) but with this great frame it really is totally enhanced.
Also the POV is excellent, the DOF great and the colors and details lovely.
BTW, we have lots of pelicans in the Danube's Delta, so that is defiantelly not the only place in Europe for them :)
Anyway, Bravo and TFS

Well done Greg.
I enjoyed reading about the frustrations of your trip. High expectations sometimes let us down hard..Sorry it did not go as well as it could have :(
At least the train added some excitement? ;)
Have a Great Week mf.

I have seen Cedryk's picture, Greg, and it is fascinating, indeed.
What a pity you had to go through a nasty experience at this otherwise well-known place.
Your picture of the lake, however, is beautiful. You have put it in a wonderful perspective vis-a-vis the rugged terrain in the BG.
TFS and take care.

Love the note, its refreshing to read that other peoples trips don't always go according to plan.
Nevermind, there's always next time or you could try Thialand. Beautiful place, you won't be dissapointed.
Good composition, but where wre all those expected birds. :)

Hi Greg,
I guess that is why I avoid going on group trips or tours. You do not get enough free time to do your own thing. A beautiful landscape shot. Well composed with the different elements of water and mountains. You have certainlt captured the beauty of the place with this shot.

Hi Greg, it's a nice shot. I'm sorry to hear your story...at least you saw a couple of shags or was that a couple shagging? I like the shot, it's simple and effective. I like the bands of green and water. Nice work.
I am sorry to hear of your bad experience Greg. I am smiling at the title. You should set foot on Africa one day. Frans Lanting (renowned wildlife photographer) responded to the question "Which continent is your favorite?" as follows: If I could visit any two continents I would visit Africa twice. :)
I could not resist a WS on the photo and hope I don't add insult to injury. ;)
