Hello, Radomir,
very nice, your first entry into TN, well composed, sharp. You're right, the Montenegro specimens are different from others, they have two bright streaks on the back and are very slender, that is why they are considered a race apart. It's the family of Colubridae. Welcome on TN and thanks for the explanations,
Cheers, Dietrich
Witam ponownie!
I znowu bardzo fajne zdjecie sympatycznego zwierzaka. Podoba mi sie poskrecana poza i nieproporcjonalnie wielka glowa. Bardzo duzo szczegolow, dobra ostrosc i bardzo ladnie dopasowane tlo. Dodatkowo udalo ci sie uchwycic swietnie moment sondowania otoczenia jezykiem. Podoba mi sie!
To jedyny waz, ktorego udalo mi sie sfotografowac. Tez w Ogrodzie Botanicznym :-) Zyje tam ich kilka sztuk. Rzuc okiem tu:

Hej
Widze ze rozpoczynasz od gadow. Fajne ujecie z wyciagnietym jezykiem. Wkradla ci sie literowka w nazwie rodziny (y zamiast u)
Pozdrawiam

Hi Radomir and a warm welcome to TN :)
This is a great and cute capture!
I rally like all the sahrp and crispy clear details on the scales of this lovely snake - especially the ones on the head.
The coiled body is very well presented from this POV and teh lighting is excellent.
I also like the timing of the picture, capturing the young snake with it's tongue out...flicking :)
There is only one thing i would like to point out: the subspecies you are refering to is "persa" not "persica" as far as i know :)
Anyway, a charming post!
Bravo and TFS

Tak, nawet pamietam jak robiles to zdjecie - zwlaszcza ze ja zrobilem prawie identyczne :-)
Ciekawe POV i ladnie zakomponowany zwiniety waz z jezyczkiem :-) Niezbyt czesto sie zdarza, uchwycic takiego w naturze - mowie i o zwinieciu i o jezyczku :-)
Pozdrawiam,
Michal
Nice post Radomir with very good details of this snake.
I like it a lot: DOF, focus, sharpness, color, lighting, framing.
I like it: composition, POV, background, notes.
I don't like it: nothing to grumble.
The compo is good, although the point of view is not the most aesthetic.
Anyway... it's an interesting presentation.
Thank you and greetings... Ricardo
