[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Dutch]
I visited Dwingelderveld National Park 10 days before Suntoucher visit this area. He's write a great note about this National Park. Please visit his site. I made this photo on the other side of this park. There are a lot of little lakes, with beautifull waterlilys. The different colours of the flowers and the clouds in the water make this photo very special for me. I hope you like it. Regards Bob

Hi Bob,
i really like the foreground here, it fills the frame superbly with detail and the reflected trees in the back to the right balance the whole thing very well.
Great colour and depth to this shot, well done.

Hoi Bob,

Ik vind het erg goed wat je hier gedaan hebt met dit lage standpunt, het geeft een goed gevoel van diepte daardoor.
De reflectie van de bomen en de wolken in het water ziet er goed uit en mooie kleuren, die roze bloemen springen er echt uit.

Trully a great landscape photo!
good low pov with total clarity of the lilies in different colour, the reflection of the trees, sky on the water just added a big bonus to the composition!

The pink and then the white water lilies along with the reflecions, make this a wonderful image. It is a great foreground with good sharpness and natural colors. I like the depth of the photo too. It gives one a real feeling of the park.

Beautifully captured landscape. The clouds and trees reflecting in the water look great and the waterlilies are beautiful. Composition is great using the lilies colours from foreground out, great detail and colour.

Hoi Bob,
Heb je deze foto gemaakt aan de oost kant van het park? Ik zag later op de kaart dat daar het aantal plassen zeker mooier was om de zien.
Je foto is zeker prachtig met de lelies als een perfecte FG interest. Vooral het feit dat er twee soorten lelies vlak bij elkaar zaten maakt het mooi. De spiegeling in het water is super.
Ik moet zekr nog een keer terug om dit deel van het park te zien.

Excellent capture of this beautiful landscape. I love the water lilies and the reflections in the water. Nice depth of focus and fine colours too. It looks like a wonderful place to visit!

Hi Bob

I thought I might try to catch up on some of my critiques, and came across one from you. I like this picture. It is good to see someone elses pictures of Niek's areas. When he visited Scotland in the summer it was good to see how someone else shoots my favourite areas.

I really like the composition in this picture, but feel it needs to be tilted down a touch on the left. One tip that was given to me about water and reflections is to make sure that the refelction of the central most point (a tree here) is vertical. so pick a point on the tree and find its reflected point and try to make the vertically over each other. But take care because with wide angle lenses, there is distortion, which is why I aim for something that is central to the picture, in your case the 3 trees might ned to be slightly more vertical, but possibly not totally becuase they are at the edge of your picture... sorry can't think how to explain it more clearly.
