Hello Gert,

Another very nice one in this stork series.
The details, pose of the bird and the way the bird does stand out against the green color tones of the grass is wonderful.
Composition and exposure, wich is'nt easy with all those white feathers, is very good.
Very well done again. TFS!!!

superb shot for 2 things, one is that the Stork has the branches
on his beak to building his nest and the second thing i love
he is on walking movement, i love this kind of nature photography,
the POV and framing are excellent, excellent DOF also,
great sharpness and details of the foreground, TFS

This stork knows what he's doing! He has a very decisive walk.
Nice that you show us the different stages, here gathering wood for building the nest. Good compo, details and white balance.

Hi Gert,

This is a great series! I love this beautiful stork with the twigs in the beak. He/she has a proud look on its face and seems happy to pose with the collection. Lovely blacks and whites and good details. The grass is a nice background.

I liked each and every one of your 'Stork series' that shows the courtship of this big bird.Excellent shot. Good sharpness and details. Well saturated colours.
I guess you used a 300mm F4+1.4 TC for this shot.I am especially interested because I am waiting for my D300, and I have a 300mm f4 and 1.4 Tc.:)
