Gorgeous Niek...It could even be here on a peaceful evening at one of our small lakes...you are very fortunate to have such good opportunity to be in the right places...so many in the world in strife, conflict, hunger and all..who would benefit from a change of life and geography to a place like this...perhaps as in Heaven, who knows...Very well done.

What a lovely peaceful scene. You caught the sun at the precise moment where it wouldn't blow out the color. Perfect work! I waited and waited at Oxbow Bend (Tetons) several evenings but alas no drama in the sunset. There was sun, and there were clouds but there was no color. I suppose it is more of a fall thing???
Were you surprised at all the ice and snow in my photos from there... we sure were. "brrrrrrrrr...."

Hallo Niek,

Ben benieuwd waar je mee thuiskomt. Dit is in ieder geval een zeer fraaie landschapsfoto met een ondergaande zon. De contrails zo net boven de bosrand komen hierdoor ook goed tot uitdrukking. De spiegelwerking van het water is fenominaal. Ieder sprietje of wat dan ook is in het water duidelijk zichtbaar. Klasse. Goed werk afgeleverd. Groeten en TFS BOB

I love the colors and the compo, but the things I really love the most here are the reflections.

Hi Niek
This is a beautiful sunset with the whispy clouds, still water and silhouette of the large lone tree. It looks like a haven for nature. The colours are soft and create a tranquil feel. Nice framing too.
