Today a rare flower in the Netherlands and Belgium.
This flower are on the Red list in the Netherlands and Belgium so the are protected by federal law.

Latin name - Gentiana pneumonanthe

Germany: Lungen-Enzian
English: Marsh Gentian
France: Gentiane des marais

The Marsh gentian Gentiana pneumonanthe is a rare plant of wet heathland that has declined markedly this century. The ideal management for marsh genetian is probably a combination of light grazing, to reduce competition from vigorous plants such as purple moor-grass, and small-scale turf-cutting or controlled winter burning, to remove the surface vegetation around the plants and provide sites for germination.


there are not much to find of this Gentian and I think this speceie are rare in the most countries.

also in Romania this species is vulnerable and protected and probably all over the Europe. I am amazed that i saw a gentian, in Nederlands...I am sorry, but i don't know to much about belgian and nederland flora.
