Peter, it is easily the most attractive Hummingbird in the world.
No wonder its habitat is South America -- a continent rich in wild life. You are lucky to have it in a butterfly park in your area.
The picture is taken with great dexterity. The subtle colours on the head and neck are very cleverly captured.
Well done and thanks for sharing this unique picture.

Hello Peter,
A fine capture of the Amazilia Hummingbird with good use of flash to give excellent sharpness and colours from a good POV that shows it features.
I knew about quails being used to remove insect pests but didn't know hummingbirds were insectiverous. Perhaps this species is an exception in being an insect instead of nectar eater, or perhaps feeds on both?
