Latin name - Geastrum quadrifidum

These fungi are on the Red list in te Netherlands and under protection from Federa law.
Also on the Red list Of Norway.
I have about that reason no cityname or place where this fungi can be founded placed.
Upon the place there where a few fungis, thisis an older one and not complete.
These fungi are 3 up to 4 cm high. It is what parent copy are because he has the tracks already lost.

There is little find information therefore I thinks that he is everywhere rare.
Soon i posted one complety young ex.

Hi Gert,

I see fungi growing out of the rocks here and they are all so ugly. Yours are always fascinating. Wonderful colors, shadings, and details. Looks marvelous against the green background.

Hi my friend Gert,
Marvelous close-up capture of this fungi with superb clarity, lighting and framing. Many thanks for sharing and best regards,

Bayram

Excellent control of DOF I like the way you have isolated the fungus from the back ground. We have a a similar list of rare fungi but I have found many on the list are rarely collected rather the rare fungi.
Cheers Clive

Hi Gert,
What an interesting form! I've never seen it before. Shallow DOF, your low POV, colors, focus, composition and details are very good. TFS

Selen
