What an interesting species of moth. I never have seen it . Looks like some "leopard.moth",-). Beautifully placed in the pink flowers. Interesting shot.

I like this photo in which insect's body can be seen. It seems to me that the body, with it's contrasting colors, bring more life to the image.

Hi Gert,
Dit is een prachtig plaatje geworden. Mede dankzij de kleur van de bloem en het motje zelf heeft dit naar mijn idee een 'zachte' toon gekregen.
De scherpe, focus en details zijn zeer goed en zeker de compositie.
Je hebt hier trouwens een motje dat ik nog nooit eerder heb gezien.

What a complex image of patterns...fortunately I love complex patterns in nature. My eyes seem set to picking out many patterns within patterns. I am what is considered "right brained" which for our art, is a good thing yes? Very nice image..

Hi Gert,

Amazing that you captured two of these in one day. I love this one more with the excellent view of the body and the lovely position of the wings. Colors and details are excellent - the markings are beautiful. Just perfect with the lovely pink flowers.
