Host plant:
The larva bores into the rootstock of Euphorbia esula or Euphorbia salicifolia.

The adults fly in May and June. They are active during daytime.

Hello Harm!
Very sharp, detailed close-up of rather rarely observed in the wild butterfly species. I like DOF and POV of this picture, colours are also good - almost vivid and well saturated.
