Are you sure this is a pole - It looks to me like he is sipping a chocolate milkshake from a straw. I love the wings in this shot, the detail on them is excellent. Thanks for posting

Composition superb lighting aslo very nice.there are some nice underbody details also viewed here. small nit shame the end of the tail is OOF, but very smallone.

Photo's verging on the bright side, especially the tail end (selective saturation, maybe?), otherwise a very good capture. It looks as if it's resting its chin on its "hands" ;-))

Lovely crisp shot of this dragon. The colors are very delicate throughout the image and suit this ode well. It looks like it is actually posing as a person would for a portrait with it's head resting on the stick...great capture, Jan.
