Hi Kristy,

The picture is great. The low light makes it appear very colorful.

The solitary tree looks very impressive. It is certainly a very strong tree, as it remained there despite all the stormy weather in the Netherlands.

The species name is in my opinion Pinus sylvestris (Scots pine, Grove Den).

Congratulations on your 100 post. I wish you many hundreds nice shots on TN. I am not sure with its species. It is a pine. Probably Pinus silvestris or P. brutia.

Hallo Kristy,

Een heel "gewone" den heb je gefotografeerd. Ik denk nog zelfs een vliegden gelet op z'n onregelmatig groeipatroon (alle kanten uit)Vind je veel op allerlei zandgronden. Mooie opname. Glashelder en typerend voor een stukje Hollands landschap. Kleuren zijn heel natuurlijk.

Mooie plaat.
