| Found this nice big one in the forest near Chaam. In dutch we call it a 'vliegenzwam'. I don't know the latin name, but I would like the common name for it in english. Is that just plane 'toadstool' or is there another name for it? |

Nice shot! You'll find this is commonly known as Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria), and I think it's one of the prettiest species of fungi around. I've created a theme for them in fact, for more info I suggest you read some of the other notes on those already posted here! Technically it's well captured, I partcularly like the amount of detail you've managed to keep - including the white border around the edge of the cap. I think a larger post might be nice though! Anyway, well captured :-D
