| I saw this fungi when I was walking in the forest near a small village called "De Moer" (municipality Tilburg). It is a big one, about 30 cm in length and 20 cm in height. It sticks on a trunk of a death tree. I do not know what kind of fungi this is, can someone tell me? |

Wow, such a beautiful fungi ! I can't help for ID, but I really like your photo. Amazing colors and textures, looks so soft, I just want to touch him. Very nice details and composition. Well done !
Valérie.
Hi Claudia,
Congratulations! Yours is a fantastic photo.
The specimen you have well captured is Laetiporus sulphureus (Bulliard 1789) Murrill 1920, a very common specie. In this forum there are a lot of photos about this fungus. On books you can find it with others old names, such as Polyporus sulphureus (Bulliard 1789) Fries 1821 or others again, all abandoned. It has 49 synonims!
