What a beautiful show of colours, Annick! These Lorikeets are so brilliant. Good portrait of the top of his head, nice and sharp eye, and the blurred body doesn't look too bad either. I wasn't sure about that at first, but for this shot it seems to suit it. TFS

Good portrait! What lens did you use on this one? The dof is really shallow, but it works very well in this case. The eyes and beak are sharp and that's what counts. Wonderful colors. TFS!

Wonderful colors in this shot and species, never had the opportunity myself..yet :)
I think the shallow DOF either works for the viewer or it does not. Subjective of course. The full-front POV works well for this one..
