Hi Marie,

Nice capture of these ducks which I believe are some kind of mixture of the domestic white duck and Mallard. The other one even seems to have some kind of weak ring on his neck. Anywere where wild ducks are in contact with the domestic ones interbreeding happens as especially with Mallard as it is very close relative. Very nicely composed, good colours and sharp details.

Volgens mij zijn dit boereneenden ook wel soepeenden genoemd.
Zijn gewoon tamme eenden die gemuteerd zijn.

Bellissima composizione di queste anatre che passeggiano sulla riva, ottima nitidezza, belli e luminosi i colori. Probabile che siano incroci di germani con anatre domestiche, inoltre sono in fase di muta del piumaggio per cui hanno perso parte dei loro colori usuali. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

A pair of Indian Runners!
I used to keep ducks years ago and know that these are a tame hybrid of the Mallard known as the Indian Runner duck. They may have gone wild but I can't Credit you for this, I'm afraid! :(

A very good capture of these two ducks,I am not sure of the species.
Could they be in eclipse plumage perhaps.
The focus is good with sharp detail.'
The colours are natural.
