Wat ontzettend mooie en goed genomen foto. Jammer van dat lichte blaadje rechts in de hoek, anders was het helemaal perfect geweest. Maar het blijft een schitterende foto!

The focus on the subject is spot on and the colours and details are immaculate.
I too had tried a similar shot when I was living in Riyadh. It was a so-so image.

Hi Marie Christine,
after a lapse of absence on TN I realize that I missed some good shots of you. In this case you caught a flying Syrphid, great. The picture is excellent in the light , the wings and the halteres show nicely. The lack of sharpness is certainly due to the shutter speed, 1/350. But there is nothing that can be done about it unless one uses a flash or a high ISO. To your info: I have tried to catch Episyrphus in flight many times and always failed, it's really tricky, my congratulations to your shot!
