Hello Teunie,
nice frontal view with precise focus. Hoverfly and flowers are nicely presented.
Only the wings are overexposed, otherwise colours and light are pleasant and well balanced.

Prachtige zomerse foto. Hebben we nodig op zo'n dag als vandaag. Schitterende kleuren en erg goede scherpte. Mooie diepte in de foto en een uitstekende diagonale compositie. Hoop toch binnenkort weer de opvolger van deze foto te zien.

Aaaaah, a wonderful occasion that needs to be celebrated. After 7 months and 8 days you just gave us a rare moment to once again feast on one of your beautiful postings and an equally rare opportunity to critique you on your work. Not only in return for all the welcome visits you paid to our portfolios, but also in enjoyment and appreciation for your lovely contribution.

This little hover fly and the gorgeous yellow flower is showing some excellent details. A fine composition with the fly and the flower well positioned and the other randomly placed flowers providing good balance to the image. The colours are just stunning and the exposure was well managed since you had to deal with quite a bit of backlight on the subject.

What a delightful and colourful image of this Hoverfly. This image is razor sharp and reflect great detail and focus. I think this image deserves each smiley awarded. You have captured this fly with great clarity and style. The markings, patterns and texture on the body are impressive. The flower it is sitting on is bright and sunny and the combination of colours of the insect and the flower is super. Your framework is splendidly done and your display is excellently handled. vey nice macro shot for both of fly and flower. great focus, POV, lighting and colors. nicely composed. Hoverflies mostly similar to bees. contrasting bees, most humans dont like them. but they give great poses for photography as like here.
