Believe it or not, but this frog actually came out of the water while having it's picture taken. It came so close, sitting right in front of me, that I had trouble focussing with the FZ8 zoom camera. Fortunately one of the three shots I took (this one) was in focus. They're very curious, obviously. If you sit still, that is. Just one little movement with the monopod, (I used the monopod to stabilize the camera, squatted down) and off they're gone...

its all about how cool you are at the moment and that you make natural and not rough movements cause it might frighten the frog...i have made many shots with the camera almost touching the face of the frog hehe...some frogs are more curious than others and less frightened by people, this i have observed...
even though the frog is not easily distinguishable in this photo i like the composition and ofcourse the pose which portrays that curiosity hehe
