[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here you see the swans changing duty. The male was on the nest and now the female swan arriving. The male swan looks to have some experience and bows the head.
Today there were 7 eggs in the nest. It will take some time (about 30 days) before I can show you the new born swans (cygnets).

We don't have too much swans here and it is such a pleasure to look at the nice series you're posting on TN! I really like this picture, for the beautiful colours, this subtle blue mixed with the gried herbs and the white birds amongst all this. I like the pose in which you captured them, the male (?) seems to be greeting his lady sitting on the eggs... and she shied ;-) it's beautiful Hendrik, many thanks for the series,

Hallo Hendrik,
Ik zie dat de zwanen weer druk in de weer zijn en de meerkoetjes op de achtergrond ook.
Is dit het zelfde nest als vorig jaar of hebben ze een andere plaats gekozen om hun jongen groot te brengen?
Misschien dat het mannetje iets overbelicht is, maar dat is toch altijd moeilijk met een witte vogels. Verder goede timing, want ik vind de pose van het vrouwtje mooi met de open vleugels.
