Hi Pieter. I am not very interested in birds, but they always have a character in your shots. Great quality in this one, and very strong contrast of light and colour with the background. Only a personal opinion: I would personaly crop a bit tighter. TFS.

Lot's of presence and expressive pose. Very well caught on this pole (obviously damaged by the hammer, but looking great as an echo to the shaggy Jackdaw :-). Superb background and very good image quality. Very good one, Pieter.

Hi Pieter, lovely shot of this Jackdaw, its a bird I've been trying to get a decent shot of and I'm not 100% happy with any of my attempts yet. If you could have, it would have been great to get a lower POV but it is still a great shot: lovely detail, exposure and BG. Great moment and you caught it with flair. Well done :)
