I took this photo on the ferry to the Dutch island Texel. actually the air was full of birds of all sorts and sizes, but this seagull happened to sit on a spot nearby waiting for a piece of bread. Luckily the sun was coming from a preferrable direction (Yes it was a sunny day!).
For me this photo expresses the feeling I get when I think of spending holydays on an island...
