Ja, ik heb ze hier ook al zien staan, het Groot Hoefblad. Zou ook eigenlijk best wel passen in de serie van Costa Rica. Heeft exotische vormen en kleuren.
Je hebt er een schitterende foto van gemaakt vanaf een goed laag standpunt en tegen een mooie achtergrond. Uitstekende scherpte.

Yesterday I saw some very similar plants in our Botanical garden at some very wet place. There was no nameplate mentioning its ID. I suppose that they must be of the same family.
Beautiful fine colors for this interesting looking plant.

These flowers grow in France, too - this very morning I saw hundreds of them and I took many pictures, maybe I will post them some days. The pink color is very beautiful, here, and I like the light, the details, the composition. It's really a wonderful species of flowers, it's a real pleasure to look at them. Very well done !
