The minute I saw this picture I loved it. I had no idea it was an unopened fern - it looks like a very beautiful painting. The colors, details and textures are marvelous. The background is beautiful. I would love to see this when it matures.

Hello Laurens,

You have really captured the details of this adolescent fern with sharp focus. The macro shows the tightly curled fronds, with soft, hairy exteriors, seeming to resemble a man's fist!
Well composed and fine dof.

Hello Lou,
I have seen these same ferns in our Botanical garden and I thought that they might be a good subject for photography. You have seen it too, and made a beautiful and artistic presentation of it. Excellent sharpness and fine colors.
