| This female merganser was shot in the dunes in the middle of winter. The frost hadn't left too much open water, so this was a good chance to get some ducks. The warm (color) winter light refelcting of the reeds caused the water to turn gold. My only problem was i couldn't get any lower POV |

excellent clear shot of the pretty merganser female! :-) the golden-brown water is really great as well as the reflections
on it. sharpness and details are wonderful, just maybe a 1/2cm more in back of the tail as that almost touches the border.

Hallo Jeroen,
Deze Zaagbek zou zo in mijn eendenserie passen. Prachtige foto in uitstekende scherpte. Misschien had iets meer verzadiging in de kleuren gekund, maar zo komt hij ook natuurlijk over. Mooie reflectie op het water. Het lijkt wel of hij wat grijs/blauw in het water achter zich laat. Beetje angstig oogcontact.
