This picture is taken in the Zoo in Rhenen called Oudehand.

I find him so impressive, this lion that I want to post it here.
``Panthera leo is the original name ( African Lion)
In the wild he lives in family groups, mostly a few males and 6 to 12 females and there cubs. The strongest male is in charge and he defend the group. The female hunt. When they have food, the mail is the first one that gets to eat.``

This information is from the website of the zoo.
The hunt mostly wildebeest and giraffe. The lion can mate to 50 times a day. They carry around 110 days and most birth has 1 till 6 cubs

Hi Kristy,
He's a beautiful looking Lion, that's for sure, what a fantastic mane. It's a great shot, nice detail and great colours, good exposure given the direct sunlight. It's a shame there is nothing more natural looking for him to sit on, but that's out of your control. Very nice work.
