Hi Reina

A lovely macro of this "moeras sprinkaan". Nice to see one from you again. You have isolated the BG perfectly with the range of the DOF while retaining sharp details of the insect. The exposure was well controlled thus having excellent lighting on the subject and the colour saturation is very natural.

Hoi Reina,
Wat een prachtige opname, vooral het light in deze foto vind ik mooi. het geeft de achtergrond een mooi effect van donkere en lichtere plekken. De positie van deze sprinkhaan is natuurlijk subliem. Op een dun grassprietje samen met een vlieg. De foto is prachig van detail en de kleurechtheid perfect.

I like this, because it shows some animation to an otherwise still macro.
Great details on the hopper, and the slanted background fits in well with the angles.

Hi Reina,

Vorige maand nog visite gehad van zo'n beestje. Hij was op een warme zomeravond binnengekomen via het raam en zat op het plafond. Gelukkig sprong hij snel naar beneden en konden we hem vangen en buiten weer los laten.
Dit exemplaar heb je fantastisch weten vast te leggen. Zeer scherp met prachtige details. Prachtige compositie. Ook steekt hij mooi af tegen de zachte achtergrond.

i too have posted a grasshopper, i think grasshoppers feed on leafs etc and are harbivorus,
this is a fine capture, i liked the shaded green bg very much, the image is sharp with good details, good lighting,
