[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Unpredictable weather conditions as mentioned in three previous shots. Suddenly a heavy rainshower as in the photo. This fellow doesn't bother. Must be thinking: "after all I'm a water bird". Unfortunately haven't had time to search for its ID. Coming.

Hi Annick

A wonderful capture here with a very funny note :))
This little bird looks great and doesn't seem to be bothered at all by the pouring rain in its search for food.
The side POV here is excellent and the vertical composition works great!
Also the sharpness is impeccable despide the difficult conditions, the natural colors are nice and well saturated and the DOF chosen here is exceptional.

Hoi Annick ,Dit is weer en hele mooie van de vogel in de regen , hij vind dat niet erg , mooie kleuren compositie details {en hij of zij heeft een mooie lange snavel ]en een mooie framing ,Groeten Teunie .

I believe this to be a Black-necked Stilt, Annick.
He is beautifully captured in this detailed, nicely colored photo with lots of atmosphere with the falling rain. Thanks for sharing.
