Wow..what a gorgeous bird, I've never heard of this Victoria Crowned Pigeon before!
A beautiful capture with sharp vivid colours and details. The dark background really shows off his feathers nicely. Good notes and framing.

This is again a splendid capture, Annick!
I really love the exposure here a lot and the mood it creates around the subject!
The vivid colors look impressive and charming and the strong contrast between the bird and that fantastic BG is outstanding!
I also really apreciate the impeccable sharpness on every feather here, as well as the eye and beak - which are very well vidible thanks to the great POV.

Hello Annick

Lovely portrait of this beautiful bird. The sharpness and dof is very good with lots of details in the plumage and a well blurred backround to set it off nicely. The colours look great. The composition - IMO - could have been improved by a little more space in front of the bird - about 1/3 of the total wide of the picture. Apart from that it is a very nice picture.

The point of view in combination with the elected framing, the sharpness and the colors so much of the bird as of their environment, they are the strong points of this wonderful capture Annick.
