[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In my opinion there is not a bird more dutch then this limosa limosa or grutto as we call it. I remember as a boy walking in the polders and there were hundreds flying around and calling "grutto grutto". these years here we are hard pressed to get one to pose like this one did on a misty morning.

Hello Jeroen,
I'm afraid we don't have them here in such large numbers but a few breed here in our wetlands and we've just seem them on the island of Öland (I'll post one soon!). It's my favourite wader and your capture is excellent, sharp and beautiful!

Prachtige opname van deze grutto. Ik zie dat je dezelfde apparatuur gebruikt als ik, maar ik heb ze nog niet zo dichtbij gekregen. Wel vliegend (foto's hier op TN). Kwalitatief uitstekend in alle opzichten.
