Wow this must have been an unbelievable sight. Although the immediate attack is not shown in the photograph, the position and the body language of the kite, shows the assault well .One can actually see the "cold" look in the crow’s eyes with no mercy. Despite the situation in which the kite was when you photographed it, the wingspan is beautifully displayed. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely weekend.

hello Peter,
A very interesting action-shot and well taken. You pressed on the button at the right moment. Around my house I can often observe these attacks, having a lot of crows in the neighbourhood and every time another big bird arrives there are the same fights.Great document.

Those crows are really aggressive. I have seen them attack anything that flies.

(I have posted a shot very similar to this some time ago, it was a wild red kite not far from where I used to live. They are often mobbed by crows and jackdaws. unfortunately not some many comments on mine) Thanks for showing a good shot.

Ik had deze nog niet gezien maar de gevechtsactie is ongelooflijk. Prachtig vastgelegd! Vooral de symmetrie van de kraaien is schitterend. Als de roofvogel ook nog een de andere kant op had gekeken, was de foto echt helemaal perfect geweest.
