Refined work. I am impressed with delicateness of exposure, lights and colours and at the same time superb details and sharpness of the flower and attractive moth. DOF is great and main subject in focus at whole. I also like wonderful composition of the shot. Well done and TFS.

Hello Thijs,
I usually can ID butterflies and moths, but this one has me scratching my head! It would be useful to know the approximate size: is it large (over 3cm wingspan) or small (under 2cm wingspan). I don't think your ID suggestions are correct but I cannot give a correct suggestion either. It looks like a species of Pyralid moth.
It's a good sharp and well-composed shot though.

this is very fine image, good composition with brilliant position of the flower stalk and the butterfly shown in this perspective. the lighting is very soft which is huge plus point. tfs.

A very nice capture of this Moth on the Daisy. It is new to me but I expect it is rather small. A fine POV, sharp details and natural colours. I love the composition too.

It looks like some kind of Pyrausta (Pyraustinae, Crambidae) (It is not Phlyctaenia) Nice sharp image, good diagona compo and perfect blured background

Hi Thijs . What ever it turns out to be its still a good close up . With your POV shows the head area so well. and the markings on the top of the wings. Good detail and natural colours. well done TFS.

I'm thrilled at this work Thijs. The viewers eyes remain focussed on the subject and the flower. The color of the flower adds balance to the picture. I cant help you with the ID, but truly can say that this is a very good picture.
