Usually I bypass these salvia flowers on the way to my orchids, but this particular morning I noticed how the flower caught the early sunrays, and displayed the little dewdrops very clearly, the whole plant had ove 20 such flowers on one stem, but i fel it would lose the contrast between purple and green, and the tiny details of the hairs, dew drops and the forked tongue, so I made a close up

Hallo Jeroen
An absolute celestial photo and unbelievably beautiful purple flower. This image reminds me of all the Christmas decorations and trimmings. The colour and detail, especially the water droplets is really incredible. I am actually lost for words the right words.Focus, sharpness and framing done marvellously and the presentation is most pleasing to the eye. Thanks for sharing.

je ne suis pas fan des fleurs mais ici je dois avouer que le résultat est surprenant. Excellent rendu de texture, avec une composition simple mais terriblement efficace.
