[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another sandpiper in my low POV series, the red knot. In winter plumage, so not quite that red. This one was part of a group that was running around on the mud. Due to the sun I had to get into the mud to shoot them, luckily it had frozen over in winter, and was only melting in the sun here and there. The knot is drinking some of the meltwater

Prachtig weer Jeroen.
Groet,
Peter

Jeroen,
Wonderful capture, very sharp, lovely colors.

Excellent composition, and the lighting is so soft that it adds fragility to this posting. It's simply spectacular and one of my favorites. How easily we forget how fragile nature is, how beautiful, and how much other life on this planet affects our own...
Superb job.
Kathy :-)

Hello Jeroen,
Sharp details, natural colours and a very good background.
Marius.

Ciao Jeroen. Very interesting light for thi nice and focused birs. Good DOF and blurred BG.
