This is a nice image of a male Comet Moth or Madagascan Moon Moth Argema mittrei. This is a much larger and more spectaccular species than A. luna. The only problem I have with the image is that there is too much depth of field, showing the cluttered man-made background.

Ohh, that is a lovely capture of Comet Moth, though I have never seen it before but it seems familiar to me ....may be I have seen some comet during my childhood ;)

I like the great contrast between the colors of the moth and the vegetation around it. The sharpness and POV are perfect.
