Wow, this is a good one. Sharp and well lighted . Overall, your intention to get the fly in it might have spoiled a bit the composition, but that is just IMHO.
BTW the link does not work for me. Which blue is this ?

Jaap this is probably my favourite butterfly too. You bonus fly in my opinion doesn't do anything to improve the composition of this shot. The detail and colour of the blue are very nice.

This is really a very good capture Jaap. Almost perfect dof (only the edge of the right fore-wing is just dropping out of focus - just teasing, it is not important in this beautiful capture). The colours are perfect - especially I like the complementary blue/yellow. Personally I would crop out the lower part with the fly but that is not really important either.

The butterfly is perfect Jaap and the colors are magnificent. I agree with Wideload that the bonus (= the fly) doesn't add to the composition and that's why I would have cropped it. I would have also cropped the OOF flowers on the left as they distract a little. Returning to the butterfly: the details are really very good and you've captured her so well! TFS! The note is very good too!

Belle photo, avec une bonne lumière un beau sécimen ce papion. J'aurais peut-être coupé la photo à gauche pour enlever les fleurs jaunes surexposé et trop flou. J'aurais enlevé aussi la mouche qui n'ai pas nette en bas et laissé un peut d'espace devant le papion.

Beautiful photo! I can never get a clear closeup photo. You have great composition with the yellow flowers, blue butterfly and even the fly at the bottom. Great focus and amazing details. I can see the "hairs" on the wings of this butterfly!

I love the contrast of the blue with the yellow flowers. You can almost count the little fuzzies on this butterfly. I find the "other" fly annoying, but then I've never seen a fly yet that wasn't annoying me! WEll done, wish I could take such nice close-ups.

To me, this is the most delicate butterfly in terms of soft colors. You've done a very good job in keeping this delicacy intact. Very good color palette of blues, softness of body silks and color combination with yellow and green. The fly? I won't be original in suggesting you crop just above it for a better framing. Very nice shot, Jaap!
