[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These Black tailed godwits Limosa limosa limosa had just arrived and gathered around waters before moving to their breeding territories. What is presented here are conflicts between potential pairs. Bar tailed godwits remain faithfull to their partners. The bond in between a pair is rather strong. I suppose two of these three birds form a pair. The third is an invader a is being chased away. It is hard to tell which one that is. They kept on moving around each other for a long time. After a while one of them left. The other two landed together near the water.

Hello Jacob,
Wonderful shot of these beautiful Godwits in flight. I can really hear their calls!! Very nice POV, sharp and lovely colours. Well done! (We have them here now!)
Many thanks, Ulla

Hallo Jacob,
Groeten
Annick

Very appropiate the exposure settings to have this clear scene.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

What a sharp image. I assume you had that monster on a tripod. Do you use a gimbal head? This shows fabulous panning. What was your shutter speed? It's a beautiful shot.

Hi Jacob

What a splendid shot...and what a terrific lens! I may be to blame here, but i didn't notice this one at your photos yet... Anyway, happy shooting with it :)

This is a splendid 3 x in-flinght with 3 lovely poses from these beautiful black tailed godwits. The details you managed on all 3 of them are terrific and super sharp and the contrast with that lovely blue sky is exceptonal.
I really love the lighting and exposure here, too!
Very well done!

Bravo and TFS

Hallo Jacob,

Je hebt de "strijd" op het juiste moment vast weten te leggen. Je ziet ze bekvechten. De foto is zo scherp, dat je zelfs de aarde aan de snavel van de middelste vogel ziet zitten. Mooie natuurvolle kleuren. Een plaatje. Interessante info. Dank je wel en tot TFS Bob

Wonderful!
Perfect composition. How did you manage to arrange the birds this way? Radio control ?:-)
Mats
