Hi Ton.
Wow, just to get it to stay still in the sun is a feat of it's own.
I know with a macro that f/9 is quite a shallow depth of field and to go to a smaller f/32 for more depth would have slowed your shutter speed to much, I see you were already at 1/80 but the eye does not appear sharp and I think when we run into trouble with shutter speed and having to open up to a shallow depth of field then it is most important to first get that eye pin sharp and let the rest fall in. I see the legs and what he is sitting on as being your point of focus. A good photo in your composition to show the beauty of your Ruddy Darter though.
