Hi,
This was shot at Kukenhof bird show. This fellow was taking his well deserved rest after his workout in the show. Any help with the id will be of great help.
Regards,
Goutham R

Hi Goutham. What a strange looking bird. good detail and colour.lots of detail in the feathers. with a good POV. well done TFS.
Nick..

Goutham,
This is an adult non-breeding genus Polyboroides. The two species of this genus are typus (Africa), and radiatus (Madagascar). They are nigh indistinguishable even with a series of great photos. However, it would be more probable to find species typus in captivity.

Goutham,

Looks like you are busy shooting birds in Amsterdam. I like the way the bird has been holding its plumage on the head.
