Hi Annick,
Great sharpness and contrast. The DOF at F8 seems to be more than I expected ! I would be happy if you can share your observation regarding Bokeh when stopping down this lens. TFS, Regards

It is a great shot. I wonder if it is a Curlew? I lived in Curlew WA which was named for that bird. Whether this is one or not I do not know but it looks similar to drawings of same. Perhaps its bill is not curved enough. Perhaps a sand piper or plover of some sort?

Hoi Annick,
Een pracht foto met een zeer mooie reflectie en prachtige heldere kleuren. Je lage positie in de mooie scherpte diepte maakt deze foto special. Ligt het aan mij of staat de foto iets scheef?
Groeten,
Niek

Hi Annick,
It looks like a Solitary Sandpiper. (See: http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Solitary_Sandpiper.html)
Good posting, nice colours and natural environment. TFS

Hi Annick,
Looks to me like a Greenshank. Very much like the illustration in the Readers Digest Book of British Birds which I find very accurate for description and colours.
As does your photo.

Peter

Hi Annick,
A beautiful bird. Don't know the ID either. Very nice composition and details. Excellent POV. Thanks a lot for sharing. Have nice Week end.
Hi Annick
Mario was close to it, Solitary Sandpiper is the american counterpart of this bird a Green Sandpiper Tringa ochropus.
I made a WS with horizon correction, hope you like it

Great capture with a beautiful reflection and detail. The light is very nice as well. My nit (or taste) would ask for a lightly tighter crop. Uploaded it to the workshop to show what I mean.
Minor issue though! :)
Cheers, Klaus

Hello Annick,
I missed this fine shot of a Green Sandpiper while I was away. Technically of high quality, the reflection is an added bonus. The composition is perhaps a little too central but that's a matter of taste: it's a pretty good shot anyway.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
