You mean you created that sort of "frame" yourself, Sabine? I thought it was some man-made structure as BG!
Anyway, this is an awe-inspiring shot. The bird seems to be snooping down at the viewer. Fantastic effect and a masterly stroke of hand-held photography.

mit dem rahmen bin ich mir nicht so ganz sicher, aber die flugaufnahme ist echt spitze, sabine! :-)
die körperhaltung und die gespreizten flügelfedern sind klasse, und das "fahrgestell" ist auch schon ausgefahren.

Nice 'in-flight' shot of this gull Sabine.

An excellent in flight shot on the gull. Nice color and detail in the plumage. The backround /framing you created gives a very nice abstract feel to the shot. It enhances the scene well IMHO.

This is a wonderful in-flight shot with very nice back lightning on bird feathers. It makes them brilliant. Exposure is superb and well controlled! As it is for the frame, I think I prefer sober ones but this is well done though :) Thanks!
