[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a ring-tailed lemur at Apenheul. There's just something about their eyes and the way they look at you. It's like they can look deep into your soul :-). This one has always just looked like a very serene/sympathetic face to me. I hope you enjoy it!

My focal length was set at 55mm with an ISO of 320.

I have to agree. The eyes seem to have a great depth of emotion - not sympathetic perhaps as much as empathetic. Whatever the emotion, the eyes draw me in. Nice contrast, good exposure, and good pose. Well done.
