[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
A lot of insects come on these flowers to feed themselves. For me, it is an ideal place to learn macro-photography.

I would take advantage of this picture to ask for help in the identifation of these species: eristalis tenax and eristalis pertinax.

Tres bon travail,on peu voir tous les coins des insects, pas besoin de 3 photos..eheheh..bonne soiree' Luciano

Hello Marie
You have done exceptionally well to have captured all three insects in one frame with good details to all of them..I would suggest for macro work to keep all the subjects in focus maybe f5.6..but that said would leave you with a shutter speed of nothing and the subjects would have long since left or moved and caused a blur,,,
This is why I really appreciate what you have achieved here with an already slow shutter speed...its great work.
Im afraid I cant id any of these apart from the centre one being a "Jasper"..a local word in the uk for a wasp..and thier sting is pretty annoying..(I got stung by a lousy one in my car at 3am on my way to work last week!!)

Hello Marie Christine,
a well captured scene with great depth of field so that the 5 insects are presented with pretty good sharpness. The body colour pattern of the 2 hoverflies (left and right) are not really visible so that I can only presume their species identity - Eristalis tenax. The wasp species in the centre of the picture is probably Vespula rufa. Just below the wasp and below the hoverfly on the right you can detect 1 ladybird larva each. Due to their surface structure (hardly visible) these may be larva of Harmonia axyridis.
Best wishes, Peter

Hello Marie,
You've captured very nice three insects with excellent DOF!
Lovely colours and nice composition, well presented!
TFS and regards,
Kevin

Hi Marie,
Sharp and well exposed macro. TFS.
The half cropped flower-head on the left hurts, though. The picture needs some thought on the composition.
Regards,
- Nirmal

Bonjour Marie
Belle photo prise au bon moment Bravo
Couleurs et deatails de l'insecte excellent.
Cependant je truve la fleur un peu surexposee. Une petite retouche ameliorerait cette belle photo.
