[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was a hot day in august and I was relaxing at a campsite near Arusha (Tanzania)While I layed down in front of my tent, this silverbird kept me company for a couple of minutes. It was sitting in the shade, so it was hard for me to make a bright picture.Nevertheless, I think the soft colours fit to the character of the gentle bird.

This is such a lovely shot Zeno. I agree, the soft colours are wonderful. What a beautiful bird and what a pretty pose it has adopted. I like the contrast between those orange feathers and the muted greens of the background. Technically, I think you have good composition and DOF here. Some of the branches are burnt out but it is difficult to get good exposure in dappled shade and overall it is a great image.

Nice shot, very good POV and pose. It's a bit too small and a little noisy.
TFS.

A lovely bird, Zeno. Very well captured with interesting details, color and lighting. Good POV and BG. Thank you for sharing it with us.

A very nice shot.
I like the POV and the pose of the animal. Looks like it's crouching a little not to get stung by the branch above it's head.
Very nice colors, details and composition!
Great job!
