[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture on a lovely spring day over here in Holland when I went for a long walk at a nature reserve not very far from the Oisterwijkse forest and fens. This is called the Kampina, a nature area in the provence of North Brabant, situated between Boxtel and Oisterwijk. The Kampina is a very wide heath- and bushland with lots of fens and exceeds over 1200 hectares.

Hello Nel,
A typical spring landscape, still marked by winter with dry grass but the trees are starting to put on summer dress!
You capture the seasonal atmosphere well, with fine details in the trees...
A well composed presentation of this peaceful scenery!

Hi Nel,
Nice bushland with lots of Betula pendula - typical provenance of Leccinum scabrum, a delicious mushroom growing only under birch. Your photo really shows spring atmosphere, it's composition-wise very good. Could have been a bit sharper, though, but most probably the original (non-resized) file was sharp enough - something we all sometimes suffer from... :(

I have passed by this image. It is wonderful. Lights and coours are amazing and so delicate. Pictured scene is so lyrical and touching. Framing and DOF are superb as well as the picture at whole. Refined art work. Bravo.

Hallo Nel,

Weer door "oude bekende sites" doorspittend kwam ik ook bij die van jou. Ik blijf dit gebied, in welke seizoenen of onder welke omstandigheden dan ook, schitterend vinden. Zo met die berken geeft dit gebied toch wel iets vanuit de smokkelaarstijd. Ik krijg er dan altijd een bepaald "nostalgies" gevoel bij. Rustgevende foto. Die berken in lijn geven aan goede compositie weer. Het eerste ontluikende groen doet een mens toch weer altijd goed. De lichtbewolkte lucht met de mooie blauwe plekken er tussen door, completeren het geheel.
