Hi Mariki,

Very nice close-up capture of this Large Red Damselfly. For some reason I don't see so many this type of insects here in UK as I did in Finland. Maybe I am just visiting the wrong places or Finland just is better with all wetlands insects. For some reason I think it is the latter. Very nice composition, sharpness of details and natural colours.

Hi Mariki,

Nice shot, very interesting colors on the back of the insect, nice composition. My only suggestion is that it could use a touch of fill-in lighting to open the shadows cast by the direct sun, either from a flash or a reflector, but a good image regardless.
