We went for an excellent hike along the river Vecht, and between grassland. A lot of goose were having their after lunch break.

I would opt for a slightly different exposure.

Dit is echt een schatje, zo lief.
Jammer dat er toch ook iets van een trieste blik te bespeuren valt.. hij/zij wilde zeker niet op de foto?
Leuk detail is het donsveertje op het puntje van de snavel.

Hi Reina

It's been quite a while since we've seen a posting from you and this is a cute little gosling to break the draught with. Hope to see more of you again although you must have a pretty hectic schedule I presume.

Looks like you disturbed this one's "siesta" judging by that look it gave you. Sort of like: "Go away photographer, can't you see I'm chilling out?" I like the closeness of the crop and the almost in-your-face approach of the portrait. Lovely details and good colours with an OOF and complimentary BG, but maybe the exposure level could have dropped a notch or so.
