Hallo Jaap
Although I have seen the Sara Longwing a few times on the gallery it never seems to bore me. It remains is a petite and striking little butterfly. I cannot help to like its matchstick Pinnochio legs. A lovely photo of this pretty butterfly. Wonderful colours and details and a great composition. I like the simplicity of it. Focus, sharpness and depth of field are just right. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the photography lesson. I will have to experiment with the f stops! A beautiful butterfly in my favorite color combination - red, black, and white. A great position to show off those stunning wing markings. Fine details of the entire Sara Longwing.

Sara Longwing...wow what a bautiful name for a Butterfly Jaap.....a very fine image of Sara here with good details, colours and sharpness.I like the way you have composed it and the contrasts balanced in the picture. The muted Bg sets off the subject very well.

I can imagine how much you would have enjoyed shooting this! NL has very good butterfly parks and one in Liedschendam is very good. This picture is very good and the colors are excellent.

I do not know what is better – terrific BG or fine image of the splendid butterfly. Both together create an amazing composition which is great for looking. Colour palette is superb, sharpness and details of the butterfly are ultimate, framing of the shot is blameless. Bravo. Well done.
